Doors open at 5pm

Ha-Ha Happy Hour runs from 5pm-6pm and offers free appetizers while supplies last!

Event features over 40 breweries; over 150 beers, ciders and meads and 2 different comedy shows.

Event held in our Red Room, Theater, and Atrium

Ticket Pricing:
General Admission Adult $25 - Includes entry at 5pm into the beer tasting, free Ha-Ha Happy Hour appetizers, two comedy shows, 6 beer sample tickets, souvenir pint glass.
 

General Admission Designated Driver $15 - Includes entry at 5pm into the event, two comedy shows.

Beer & Food Pairing Event - $59 - Includes 4 sample entrees paired with 5 Founders craft beers (2 of the beers are exclusive to the pairing event and not offerred in the general beer tasting event). Pairing event runs 5:30pm-6:30pm and also includes all the same as the Adult ticket:  Entry at 5pm into the beer tasting, free Ha-Ha Happy Hour appetizers, two comedy shows, 6 beer sample tickets, souvenir pint glass.

Group Discount - $20 per person for groups of 12 or more people when purchased in person at the Dow Event Center Box Office only. Group discount offer expires JAN 11th at 5pm.

Marsupial Creampie, a Bay City based cover band providing experimental music - Covering the likes of Dirty Heads, Sublime, Shaggy, Snow, Michael Franti, G. Love, Paul Simon, Nelly, Bob Marley, Ween, and many more. Marsupial Creampie adds their own flavor to some of the tastiest reggae, throwback jams, and folk tunes out there.

JAN. 12, 2018 Both Shows

Kevin Kramis - Famous Kevin Kramis just returned from performing for our American troops on the "2017 Comics on Duty Tour" that had stops in Bahrain, Djbouti, and Greece. Noted for his universal appeal, with stage presence and off-beat improvisations that captivate and involve audiences. Kevin has worked successfully before all kinds of folks from mature, discerning audiences at outdoor venues like DTE to the inmates at the super-maximum security prison in Mansfield, Ohio.  Kramis has opened for Tim Allen, Louie Anderson, Kato Calin Jeff Foxworthy, Judy Tenuta, Gabe Kaplan, Richard Jeni, Billy Gardell, Pointer Sisters, Michael Feinstein, Three Dog Night, Brian Setzer Orchestra, JJ Walker, Tim Lilly, John Hefron, Steven Wright, Jeff Hobson, and Ben Creed.  A professional public address announcer for over 30 years, Kevin is currently the voice of Wayne State University Football, Basketball and Volleyball, Eastern Michigan University Volleyball and Gymnastics. In 2017 Kevin was the voice of the USA Taekwondo National Championships. He is the former P.A. voice of the Michigan State Fair, Toledo Mud Hens and the Toledo Walleye.

Adam Degi got his start in Grand Rapids,MI He's done everything from hosting a game show and performing stand up at colleges to taking his act to clubs and festivals around the country. He won the Funniest Person in Grand Rapids Competition in 2009 and was in the Semi - Finals of the Comedy 10K in 2014 as well as being featured on the Cover of Revue magazine.
He's worked with the likes of Rory Scovel, Anthony Jeselnik, Neal Brennan and David Koechner. Adam performed in the Boston Comedy festival in 2016 and released his debut Album "His Name Is My Name too" on iTunes in 2017. He once got a standing ovation from the Harlem Globetrotters.

David Dyer has been performing stand-up all over the country for over twenty years. He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black. He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”. He’s a regular and a guest host on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and frequently guest hosts multiple radio shows for Cumulus Broadcasting in Grand Rapids, MI. He also created and stars in a web series called “Pillars” that can be viewed on his website www.daviddyercomedy.com. And…he’s in decent shape.

Bob Phillips is a nationally touring comedian, a regular on the XM/Sirius Rawdog channel, and a contributing writer to several web-based humor magazines. Bob makes audiences laugh across the country with a clever blend of observational, topical, political, and everyday humor. From the perils of being a single father, to growing up in the seventies, Bob covers a lot of ground. Sometimes biting, sometimes endearing, but always in charge, Bob has something for everyone.

Sheila Kay was born, bred, married, spawned, and divorced in Detroit, Michigan…and to make matters worse, she did most of that twice. Both her husbands are remarried, very happy, and love each other very much.
She’s been doing stand up for a gazillion years, that’s 7 gazillion in dog years. Been in a few movies, a few tv shows (Law and Order: SVU a couple of times, most notably as the corpse,) Comedy Central, traveled ‘round the country with a play entitled Self-Help: The Comedy, for several years, and she now works primarily for Carnival Cruise Lines, making laughs out at sea. She is an ardent animal lover and never tire of doing shows for shelters to raise funds for the homeless and abandoned fur balls. Paws4laughter is her "thang. " You can always find her on that blasted Facebook.
