The Dow Event Center, Jolt Credit Union Event Park and ASM Global are proud to support the incredible work of nonprofit organizations that make a difference in our community. Through ticket donations and other charitable initiatives, we aim to contribute to causes that align with our values and bring positive change to the communities we serve.
We receive a large volume of support and ticket donation requests every year, but every effort will be made to identify opportunities with the greatest perceived impact in our communities. Please read the requirements and criteria for support below before submitting a request for support. We appreciate your time to help us address requests in a fair, equitable, and timely manner.
CRITERIA FOR SUPPORT
We carefully consider each request to ensure our support reaches a diverse range of organizations and causes. To be eligible for ticket donations or other types of support, organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Organizations requesting support must be a 501(c)3 organization
- Organizations must be located within the Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan or serve people living in the Great Lakes Bay Region
- Request for support must be submitted through the form below
- Requests must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe to allow for proper review and processing. Please refer to “How to Request Support” below.
- The organization must support efforts to improve the quality of life in the Great Lakes Bay Region, including, but not limited to fighting food insecurity, preventative health and wellness, arts and education, or other quality of life initiatives.
LIMITATIONS FOR SUPPORT
We will not provide support for any of the following requests:
- Individuals or for-profit organizations
- For organizations outside of the Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan.
- To support administrative, operational costs or fundraising for those of an organization/activity
- Multi-year support requests
- For adult or school sporting teams, events, clubs or extracurricular activities/fundraisers
- Organizations that discriminate by race, religion, gender, age, ability, or are affiliated with a political campaign/candidate/partisan activity
- An organization that has already received a charitable contribution during the current fiscal year
- Any organization that fails to request support through the online form
- Any organization that fails to provide the required documentation or reporting
HOW TO REQUEST SUPPORT
- Requests will be reviewed the first week of each month
- Organizations will be notified if they are receiving support the second week of each month
- Processing may take an additional 1-2 weeks after the notification has been sent
- Organizations may be required to submit additional documentation if support is approved
- Please be aware that ticket donations are subject to availability and may be limited during peak seasons or high-demand events
