DAVID DYER: David Dyer Van Slooten has performed stand-up at comedy clubs, theatres, and corporate events for over twenty-five years. He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black. He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”. He’s a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and often appears on the roster for their “Friends of The Bob and Tom Show” comedy tour. He has a DryBar Comedy Special called “Further Along than Anyone Expected” with over 1 million views. At the age of 49, David became a Paid-On-Call Firefighter with Grand Rapids Township Fire Department and at the age of 53, became a Full-Time firefighter with that same department. In November of 2021, he was a presenter at the prestigious TEDx Detroit event where he spoke about his careers in both comedy and the fire service.
 

BRYAN MCCREE: Bryan McCree is a nationally known comedian, seen on Mad TV, Comedy Central, and most recently Comic’s Unleashed with Byron Allen. He has a natural charm on stage, and his infectious giggle often incites laughter among the masses. His natural acting talent shows through in his act, as he plays his funniest character: Himself.

NARDOS OSTERHART: Nardos Osterhart has been doing standup since 2012 and won the Funniest Person in Grand Rapids contest in 2013.  She’s produced two successful one-woman shows and an album called ‘Nice Try’ in 2019 that hit number one on iTunes.  It can be heard on Sirius XM and Spotify.  Her humor highlights the absurdities of everyday life, memories from the past, and parenting failures. Nardos’ comedic influences are Dave Chappelle, Nate Bargatze, and John Mulaney.

Tickets on sale to the general public will be available at Ticketmaster.com or in person only at The Dow Event Center Box Office. Our box office is open every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please visit internal window #10 to purchase your tickets during that time.

Early Bird Ticket Prices:  $25.00  |  $40 for 2 tickets

Day of Show Ticket Price:  $35.00

*Additional fees may apply when purchased through Ticketmaster. Prices listed are when purchased in person at the Dow Event Center Box Office.

Improvements Coming To The Dow Event Center Parking Ramp

To improve your entertainment experience, The Dow Event Center is in the process of renovating its parking structure across from venue. These capital improvements include repairing and replacing the elevators and lighting, and performing structural upgrades to the parking ramp.

While this is in progress, parking will be available at the following locations:

  • Dow Event Center front lot, 303 Johnson
  • 400 Lot across from The Dow Event Center, 400 Johnson
  • Dow Event Center Parking Ramp
